Interlinking, SEO Titles and Meta Description
In this video we go through some of the final touches for optimised on-page SEO. Adding SEO titles to each page containing the primary keyword is one of the most important on-page SEO factors. The title tag sends Google a strong indication of what’s on the page so it’s best practice to use the main keyword here. Try use the rest of the space in the title tag to add synonyms. Remember, this is also the section most likely to catch a potential leads attention in Google.
Internal links help pass the authority of your website from page to page and can be used to add relevancy, improve user experience and send people to your targeted pages. This process is called link sculpting. To get the best results we want to silo the pages. Using the keyword map we created earlier gives a good overview of where we want to place links on the page.
- Use the primary keyword for the page at the start of the title tag.
- Avoid using the same keywords in different page titles.
- Interlink pages for optimal link juice flow.
- Keep the user experience in mind when linking between pages.
